Just Launched: Niagara 1812 Website

Take a trip into the past with Niagara 1812. Using your iPhone, visit places and people from the War of 1812 and beyond. Choose Roam Mode, walk around one of the historic towns of Niagara, Canada, and discover the stories that lie behind the bricks and mortar. Or choose Quest Mode, and solve a centuries-old mystery in an immersive adventure.

With Niagara 1812, you carry history with you, in the palm of your hand.

We just launched the website for the new iPhone App game Niagara 1812! The game was a joint project between nGen and Brock University, and was just recently approved for sale in the Apple App Store. The completely custom design features advanced lighting, soft textures, custom vector paper, and the beautiful Google web font IM Fell. For the development of the website we used custom jQuery (JavaScript) and advanced CSS3, all hand-coded of course.

For more information about the project, visit the new website: ihistorytours.com

Just Launched Design-to-HTML: Fourgrounds Website

Besides creating custom designed websites, we also will build a website that has already been designed (Called Design-to-HTML). Fourgrounds Media Inc, the web-video powerhouse located in downtown St. Catharines (And one of the media companies pioneering a new Canadian silicon valley right here in Niagara), came to us with concept designs and a vision of what they wanted their website to look like. Our job was to build it to exact specifications, and pull-off some crazy JavaScript animation techniques in the mean time, all while making sure everything worked on the iPhone… woah!

Our coding ninjas when straight to work and came out with a website build we are very proud of, to match a design that Fourgrounds Media Inc. graphic designer did an awesome job on as well. Even though we did not do the design on this one (since we are a creative company after-all), we are extremely happy to be a part of the build, and to start a great relationship with Fourgrounds!
