We’re Expanding!

Bigger is better and we are getting bigger…

When we hired an addition to our web team it became (painfully) obvious we needed more room.  Four large desks in one office makes a very cramped work space.    So, when two rooms next to our current office space became available we jumped at the opportunity to expand.  We have almost doubled our square footage and have some amazing plans for the new space—and we want to share ’em with you! Just Launched: Dark Potential

 

Dark Potential is a table-top strategy game created by the team at MiniWarGaming. It is set in a post-apocalyptic future in the aftermath of an alien attack that has left Earth’s population decimated, and its cities destroyed or in disrepair. Surviving human factions now fight with each other and the aliens to survive.

The website design for Dark Potential needed to capture the feel of game’s post-apocalyptic setting. Visitors to the site will instantly have a feel for the game’s mood and setting even before browsing through the content.

The site was created using HTML/CSS with a “News” section that is powered by WordPress CMS.

Just Launched: Aguanno & Kemp Realty

Aguanno and Kemp Realty

Brennan Aguanno and Anna Kemp are a husband and wife team of realtors with Sotheby’s International Realty Canada, based in Toronto. They specialize in buying and selling residential properties, both houses and condos, from the Beach to High Park and from Downtown to Lawrence Park.

Anna and Brennan are the first realtors to take advantage of ourFrontPorch Real Estate Content Management System. The system is powered by WordPress, making it simple for them to add their own listings and blog posts to the website.

Aguanno & Kemp Realty opted for the “Veranda” FrontPorch theme. The site has a clean, professional feel that truly reflects Anna and Brennan. Individual property listings are showcased using stylized photo galleries, Google Map integration and precise, easy-to-read lists of property details.

Grand Erie Home Hardware

GrandErie Home Hardware, located in Dunnville Ontario, is separately owned and far from a corporate big box retailer. They are a passionate community-driven place focused on personal face-to-face relationships, local events, and friendly service. GrandErie Home Hardware is the complete package for area locals and seasonal campers alike, with products ranging from your normal Home Hardware store all the way to a full range of pet and equestrian supplies.

GrandErie Home Hardware is a diverse and community-focused store. They wanted a web presence that would convey their “small-town” spirit while maintaining the national branding. Their goal was to highlight their commitment to their community as well as their products and services. The site’s design highlights the people who work at the store and make it a special place to shop.

Because the site needed to be constantly updated it was built on the WordPress CMS to make editing and adding content an extremely easy task. The team at GrandErie can add articles, flyers, events, photos and product information whenever they wish to keep customers engaged and informed.

Bryan Caporicci is an award winning wedding and portrait photographer based out of Fonthill. In 2011, Bryan was awarded his Craftsman of Photographic Arts (CPA) designation by the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC), making him the youngest photographer in Canada to receive this level of achievement.

Bryan needed an updated web presence to showcase his impressive body of work. Because Bryan’s photos are so visually stunning, the choice was made to keep the design simple and elegant.  The minimalistic design enhances his portfolio by not competing for dominance.

We created a “hybrid” site that combined the blog functionality and gallery capabilities of the WordPress CMS (Content Management System) with static webpages.  The setup allows Bryan and his team to easily add new photos to their galleries.

The Purse and the Scarf is located in Niagara Falls, ON.  They offer the latest in women’s fashion and home decor.  Their impressive inventory includes stylish handbags, beautiful jewelery, fashionable scarves and an abundance of other accessories.

The Purse and the Scarf was originally Beaches Beauty Boutique, a boutique offering tanning, pedicures, manicures, hair colouring and highlights, gel nails, shellac, makeup application, waxing, and more. The goal was to transition away from tanning and focus on the selling of their beauty products.

They were looking for a website that promoted their services and allowed users to purchase products online. We used the WordPress CMS to created a fully-functional, easy to edit, eCommerce website. Using this system the store can add, edit and remove virtually all content and products on their website.

Evans Heating & Cooling has been in business for over 40 years. Evans specializes in heating and cooling (sales & service), and fireplace (sales & service). Featuring some of the best products in the industry and focused on customer service.

Evans wanted a website that would showcase their business and products.  We created for Evans a custom designed website that features a unique look and new branding.

The design includes a custom slideshow and a minimalist colour scheme that doesn’t overshadow the product images.  Easy navigation between the major sections of the site makes it easy for visitors to find exactly the products or services they’re looking for.
