We’re looking for an awesome WordPress web developer to join our team, with minimum 3 years of experience.
We want to hear about what kind of crazy things you made WordPress do, why you love this industry, and a link to your portfolio!
Compensation: $20 to $30/hour based on experience.
Recent and Relevant Experience in:
- Building custom WordPress websites from the ground up (templates need not apply)
- WP Custom Fields and/or Advanced Custom Fields, writing custom WP plugins
- Awesome JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, and CSS3 skills
- Frameworks such as ZURB Foundation 5
- Responsive web design best practices
You Love:
- Making WordPress do amazing things (and non-WordPress sites too)
- Learning about the “Next Big Thing”
- Being meticulous and obsessive about details (including indented code, your workflow, and your code editor)
- Coming up with creative solutions to creative problems
Nice-to-haves:
- SASS or LESS
- SEO, AdWords, and Google Analytics experience
- Server-side knowledge, including security
- Tons of experience working as a part of a web team
- Modern web design, design principles, and WCAG2.0 guidelines
- Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc!)
- Project Management experience
